- Ch 38A warped point is a tunnel from three-dimensional space into four-dimensional space. It is invisible in three dimensions, and objects entering it seem to vanish.
- Ch 38Warped points are common and appear aboard the ships, but they are stable only briefly before drifting or vanishing. Their radiation is faint but has a distinct spectral signature.
